Besetzung: meist im Trio, gelegentlich mit Keyboards / with this outstanding release he is leaving his country blues roots behind. This is powerful, innovative and hard-driving blues in the widest sense. His guitar sound is mighty his rhythm playing is excellent, and his songs are different. Not a straight blues album, but one that should attract and satisty both, lovers of traditional style electric blues and fans of new sounds in blues. Mostly a trio setting, with additional keyboard from time to time. For me, one of the most fascinating releases in 2000. Five stars!
